“Pate Plays Soccer” is a humorous children's story about friendship, teamwork, and finding your place even when things do not go according to plan.

Pate dreams of playing football, but when he is not accepted onto the team, he decides to create one of his own. Recruiting famous stars like Messi, Ronaldo, and Zlatan proves more difficult than expected, so he turns to a group of unusual companions instead. Together, they discover that a good team is built on much more than sporting talent.

Written by Finnish author Timo Parvela, the book combines humor, adventure, and memorable characters. Readers familiar with the ELLA AND THE FRIENDS series will recognize Pate, who takes center stage in this story as the main character.
