About Us

We are KROPKA, a shop and creative space right in the heart of Vilnius, at Savičiaus g. 6.

It all started with an idea from Volha — a designer by training who loves making things by hand. Together with her husband Źmicier, we set out to create a place where Belarusian culture feels alive: not museum-like, but through things you actually want to wear, gift, and keep at home. We drew inspiration from a place back home in Hrodna, which once had its own “City Life Center” — a warm space for gathering and shared causes.

When we invited craftspeople to work with us, almost forty people responded — Belarusians, a Ukrainian, a Russian, Lithuanians. Thanks to them, KROPKA’s shelves are always full: clothing, accessories, postcards, and small home items featuring Belarusian, Lithuanian, and Ukrainian symbols. A special place in the shop is reserved for merchandise from the Volnyja paštoŭki project and the Volnyja initiative — buying them supports belarusian political prisoners.

More than a shop

KROPKA is also a hub for Belarusian life in Vilnius. We host workshops (including straw-spider weaving), Kupala singing evenings, batleyka puppet shows, film screenings, and exhibitions by Belarusian artists. For many people who ended up outside Belarus, it’s a place where the language is spoken and where you can meet your own.
