Book "White Paper. A Guide to Psychological Recovery" Maryna Litvinienka, Marta Skuharava, Vieranika K.

Three Steps Towards Yourself. A Guide to Psychological Recovery.

The book was prepared by the "Education Every Day" initiative as part of the Social Camp project, which is implemented by the Goethe-Institut in Warsaw with financial support from the European Union.

Maryna Litvinienkа is a humanistic therapist with 12 years of practice. "During this time, I have combined the tools and philosophy of the phenomenological school of Gestalt therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, existential therapy, and positive psychology into a universal approach. I also work from a body-oriented approach. For me, the main goal and core value of working with people is to achieve wholeness (healing) for all parts of the self."

Marta Skuharava works with an integrative approach. In recent years, she has regularly led support groups for Belarusians in Warsaw, helping them through the adaptation process. "As it turned out, the simplest and most obvious things restore and heal us all and work universally for everyone—for example, breathing, sleep, or hugs. That's why our simple, honest conversation with each other and with our readers has been healing for us, the authors, as well. We believe that you, too, will become part of this conversation, and that it will help you reassemble your life's meaning and find support."

Vieranika studies philosophy and works within an existential-phenomenological approach. "As Karł Hustaŭ Junh wrote, 'any transformation requires a 'world-end'—the collapse of a previous philosophy of life.'" In this book, we have tried to rebuild ourselves from the fragments of the life we all knew before 2019. To notice how, despite everything, new life, a new vision, and a new sense of self and our place in a changing world are breaking through within us."
