This is a book about the Narovlian Palace - an old house on the banks of the Pripyat, filled with love, piano music and family secrets. This is a literary study in which the palace biography is intertwined with my personal history. It is also a story about the people who called the palace to their home, and the era that swept over its windows.
The book combines elements of realism and magical realism. In it, bronze lions stroll around the park, and people from portraits - along the hallways. Going into the house, be prepared: the owner can return from eternity at any time to answer the phone call.
The book has many old and modern photographs, which allows you to plunge into the atmosphere of the palace, to travel through its rooms and the surrounding area. The hard cover securely retains the content of the book and gives a sense of thoroughness. Inside is a dense chalk cream color, pleasant for the eyes and touch.
I would like to see the same thing as I heard the same thing as I first met with the Narovlian Palace: quiet call, invitation to linger and feel at home.
Nice reading!
